About ECC Timber Engineering Limited

ECC Timber Engineering Limited is a medium sized specialist-contracting
organisation dealing in most aspects of structural timberwork. The company was first
established as a partnership in 1988 as the subcontracting arm to an already successful
Structural Engineering firm whom themselves specialised in structural timber design.

In 1994 the partners of ECC decided to expand the trading activities of the business
and as a consequence the ECC Partnership became a limited liability company
namely, ECC Timber Engineering Limited.

From this time, the company has developed a comprehensive range of services and
products aimed at providing Architects, Engineers, Contractors, Builders and
Individuals with a “one stop” specialised service which can encompass one or a
combination of disciplines (refer to Services and Products section). In addition to its
core business of structural timber work the company has diversified their activities
through setting up a project management company undertaking restoration and new
build projects. More recently, the company has acquired a Consulting Engineering
Practice who are capable of providing structural design and engineering services on
most types of project.
